Problem with rendering Husky for "Wolf 2.0 by AM"

Bonjour

This week i have bought Husky for "Wolf 2.0 by AM"

I imagine a cene with this product and begin it with placing 3 husky figure .All seems ok with the fur on each one See capture screen one

before i continue with the scene , i try a rendering with 3delight (i think Iray not working with these fur by AM) and only one of the dog seems rendering Ok

See capture screen 2

So if someone have a solution for rendering correctly the 3 dogs i will appreciate

Thanks

  • Make sure to rename your 2nd and 3rd huskies to something other than the (2) and (2) names before applying the preset.  Something in DS broke LAMH's ability to determine which was which in the 4.9 series.

Also, that preset works fine under iray.  Remember to export the FiberHair or OBJ right before rendering and apply it accordingly.

Only on LAMH per scene if I recall correctly.

Render in Iray by converting to obj in the player. Maybe you could render more than one that way.

How I do it when I use LAMH on several figures is this:

    1) pose your figures

    2) apply LAMH preset only on one for start

    3) convert first LAMH preset to OBJ, rename it (like worf fur number1), remove LAMH files (green ones) so they're not in the way, parent OBJ to figure they belong to, SAVE

    4) move on to the next animal in the scene and repeat 2) and 3)

    5) rinse repeat with every next figure. remember to SAVE

More converted OBJs you have longer it will take to save, it takes some patience, but is worth it. When you have your OBJ furs on all, render. I suggest adding fur only when you are done with everything else in the scene (environment, props, posing, adding other figures).

    Hope that helps :)

LAMH can handle lots of items in a scene.  I've had over 2 dozen LAMH presets in a scene before and we've posted scenes to the forums with over a dozen in the past.  DS4.9 broke a few things, and one of those was the ability to determine multiple copies of the SAME object in the scene.  That is being fixed in the next update to 1.x series that will hopefully be released soon.
