Originally, I said not at the price it was; I'm now thinking it might be worth it.

I think the caveat is getting good enough textures to convert. They don't have to be perfect, but without them it's going to be a frustrating time.

Try the demo for free.  There is a manual here. I've decided to purchase it after this third try with the demo version.

Can you kindly give more renders? :) also like close ups of them?

    Sure, here's a head shot....

The character looks really good! How'd you make the textures? Is it also from the program?

Yes, most of the head (lower forehead to the chin) is generated from the source head image, the rest of the head and the body textures are generated with the program's texture templates. It obviously uses an algorithm to match the tone of the body textures to the head.  This character started out with a clear, well lit, relatively high resolution, neutral expression, head shot.  In Photoshop, selected the whole image and rotated it to the eyes were "level".  After generating and applying the new materials and head morph to the base Genesis 2 Male, applied the N.G.S. Anagenessis 2 - Revolution shader which changed the tone of the skin dramatically.

Thanks Greybro.  I'm tempted to pick this up later.  Am I right though in that you can use skins from say other Gen 2 figures on the face and body once you've dialled it onto the Genesis figure in Daz..?

If you want to create G1,2 of 3 character likeness of your friends, this is the so for you. It's very easy to use and produces a fantastic likeness, especially on G2 in my experience. I can't recommend enough.

You can absolutely do that. In fact I do it all the time when makeup or brighter eyes are needed.

  • I bought it at full price and don't regret it at all. If you're willing  to take the time to find the right images you can get good results.
