how yoo make a pose/shape combo a slider?

i see like erc stuff under the gear for some of the sliders.
is nifty for a percentage of a pose/shape combo,  but how yoo put it in there?
is there something in ds to make them, or you manually type them?

for example, a percents slider named 'roar', opens lower jaw, and squint eyes at same time
