Oh, Mai! She is gorgeous! http://www.daz3d.com/mst-mai-for-genesis-3-female

With so many excellent female characters coming out, I seldom go nuts over one, but Mst Mai is so stunning. I may have to put her on a book cover.

Fabulous job, @Mstene !

She does look great, thanks for the HU! Nice to see vendors from RDNA putting out great new addons

  • I am getting a bit of a Scarlett Jo vibe from her face shape, especially in the main promo pic. In real life she has much thicker eyebrows though. An eyebrow add-on or different texture would resolve that.

  • Looks like victoria in a red wig.

    What am I missing?

I don't think she looks anything like Victoria. She uses Karen and Eva morphs, along with G3F, and has elf and fantasy skin options. I do think she might have some Scarlett Jo going on though.

Downloading now, will do some renders this weekend.

I've been eyeing the Rune 7 Pro Bundle for months--months!  So when that two day sale hit I was going to finally add her to my collection.  That is until I saw Mai and was forced to confront, once again, the cruel economics of shopping cart Jenga.  I had to have Mai, she comes with so many options . . . I had to get her and remove the Rune 7 Pro Bundle from my cart.  So I had to settle for the Rune 7 Base Character and get Mai.  I'm not too disappointed with my decision.  It's just economics and a wallet that has more dust bunnies in it than cash.  Here's a quickie test render of Mai--I mean, real quick!

LOL!  I know, she's a secret agent, right?

I was trying to be funny. I guess I bombed with that one.

  • I already have Karen and the morphs. I just wish I didn't also have to buy Eva 7 to get her. That's going to make me pass on Mai. Too bad, as she is truly beautiful. Maybe someday when Eva goes on deep discount. Kudos to the artist!

You don't have to have Eva 7 you can use her without, she will just look slightly different.  I have several characters that do not have the "required" characters and they work just fine.

Yes. depending on what got your attention with Mai, you can come close without the other characters morphs. In most cases, the vendor used the additional DAZ characaters for added morphs to create the look they wanted. Without them, the look will be different, not sure how much, but textures should still work fine granted they used the default UV set.

To me, she has kind of a Catherine Deneuve vibe. Here's a couple of pictures of her with mouth width and mouth size reduced. (Also lengthened her arms and legs because the dynamic outfit I was using was a little long for her. Since this was the Elf morph, I figured I'd let that and the tiptoe foot pose slide.

  • Has more definition to the sunken cheeks than most characters, but there are some others like that.

I don't usually purchase any character with facial blemishes, though. Not unless the underlying facial shape is somehow incredibly unique. They make it impossible to use the same character with slightly different shaping morphs to stand in as relatives in the same scene, if required.

Just saw this.  Thanks so much for the feedback =)   And, yes, you can use any character without all the "correct" morphs, they'll just look a bit different.
