Did anyone every write a manual for Carrara 8?

I bought Crarrara Pro 8 back in 2010 and DAZ promised that the manual was "coming soon"... but needless to say, that never happened and I haven't even had it installed for the last five years. However, since I can currenly pick up Carrara 8.5 pro for $9.75 and it can theoretically be used as a modeler for Genesis and Genesis 2 figures, I was wondering if anyone knows of a third party manual or something besides the collection of links (many of which seem to have predated the Neanderthal's presence in Europe) in the Carrara forum?

I believe the last Carrara book I read was for version 5. I bought it when I had Carrara 6. It didn't help much. DAZ hasn't created any real manuals in over a decade.

Yep. Got it when I bought Carrara 7 and got it again with Carrara 8 with the promise that the manual for 8 was coming.
Needless to say. I don't expect DAZ to produce anything ever, but I was thinking that in seven years someone might have come up with a third party written guide or set of tutorials.
There is also stuff at the Carraracafe.
Thank you! I think I'd been there in the past but it looks like there was a little spurt of activity at the beginning of this year after two years of nothing.

Although many things about Carrara are easy to learn at their very basic level, right from the interface, it helps to explore deeper by seeing what the manuals have to say.
