What size station, real or fantasy, and which portion of the station? There are several hundred to choose from ranging from authentic replicas of the ISS http://www.daz3d.com/columbus?cjref=1&utm_source=cj&utm_medium=affiliate to things straight out of Barbarella and everything in between.
I have these and they just dont seem to work for me. Im using Sigma for another purpose, so its out of contention. And Orion doesnt have the feel of a station for me... or maybe i like the vision. I looks more like a mess hall at best.

I am looking for a large futuristic Sci-Fi set that kinda serves as the main promenade of a the station.
I once saw @LycanthropeX make one out of this: http://www.daz3d.com/gallerie-bastion-spacious-interior
but i lack the texturing skills to pull that off for my taste.

Would this work: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/vendor/BlueTreeStudio
As well as lots of other interiors, there is also this freebie:http://www.sharecg.com/v/43542/gallery/5/3D-Model/2001-A-Space-Odyssey-Discovery-Pod-Bay
There are still a lot of items out there that match that description. 3-D-C, Coflek Gnorg, and Cybertenko over at Renderosity each have several sets that would probably fit the bill... ON the realistic end, I'd probably go with 3_D-C's SciFi metro since it's modular and you can just duplicate pieces to expand the scale. Of course, you can do that with the GIS sets that were mentioned above, as well. I've mix and matched pieces from those to create new sets and they all work together nicely.
Some of BlueTreeStudios' set offer some possibilities I will have to look into further. Time Agency, Survelliance Hub, and Launch Bay Ultima (Texture Pack, with the Launch Bay set), all offer interesting options Im going to look into. All are rather procey options, but considerable choices nevertheless. The Odyssey set however doesnt really fit the bill. i need something much bigger and more sci-fi looking.
But thanks for these suggestions.

3-D-C and Coflek Gnorg are 2 of my fav vendors for Sci-Fi so ive checked their offerings extensively and didnt really find anything that fit. I actually did look into Sci-Fi Metro, and although i felt it didnt offer me the size perspective im looking for, I can admit i didnt think of duplicating the set to expand its size, so i wll re-evaluate some of those sets again.
Another set is of Coflek Gnorg titled Spaceport Terminal is another set I am considering. It offers the size and perspective, but not the "look" of what im looking for. However, it is very reasonably priced and maybe i will just have to look into upgrading the textures for it... somehow.
However, since you admit you have done something similar with the GIS sets, and also since I have them, care to share renders of them? It might inspire some ideas for me. I would most appreciate it. That is, if you dont mind me using your idea for my own purposes.

I didn't get the exact link I meant to post up. I had thought maybe this Blue Tree Studio one would work: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/modular-space-station-1-command-deck/118720/ or maybe this one:https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/surveillance-hub/112583/
Command Deck doesnt appear to offer the size i want, but Survelliance Hub is definitely a possibility which is why i mentioned it and 2 others above.

Could you use something like Stonemason's Sci-Fi Kit? http://www.daz3d.com/sci-fi-kit-2016
or some of his older stuff: http://www.daz3d.com/shop/#index=0&filter_vendor=Stonemason&filtered=1
or Davorama's http://www.daz3d.com/s-f-c-s-sci-fi-construction-set
Definitely not interested in any kits really. Customizing a set is gonna be enough work as it is, let alone building one with a kit and then having to add sufficient props to it.
But thanks for the suggestions.

Don't get caught up on size. It's all relative to what your eye wants it to see. That's the art of kit bashing. I found an example on one of my portable drives of a set that's mainly made from the GIS series where I'd actually saved some of the tests. This was my idea of a "James Bond Villain" type layer, and the big trick was just reducing the things that were obviously scaled to people, scaling up everything else and repeating elements to get a consistant look. Since you have these sets you should recognize the key set elements, the buildings in the foreground are some of Stonemasons greeblid city and a lot of the rest of it is just primatives with some 3DL shaders from the Pimp My Prop set slapped on them...
Ok... thanks for sharing/
