Add Markers To Bundles In Store, Etc.

Let me take a moment to discuss bundles. Collections of related products grouped together in one package. This one package is more expensive than any one of the items in said bundle, but buying these products in bulk means that they are overall less expensive than if they had been bought individually. They're great, especiallty if you can get them on sale or whatever.

However, there is one issue that I have with their store reprentation. Let's say - just as an example - you pick up one or two itmes in a given bundle. Say one item was offered at a ludicrous bargain or was in the Fast Grab or something. The result is that you have one or more items in a given bundle. Then later on, the bundle comes on sale. But since you already own one or more items included in that bundle, that means that it is actually much less of a bargain. But you don't remember what exactly you have or don't have in that bundle, and you're tempted anyway.

My suggestion is that the bundle readouts in the store be modified so that shoppers can immediately check and see what products in that bundle they already own. For instance, say you got a Genesis 3 Female character for free or at some extreme bargain, but you didn't get either the Starter or Pro Bundle. With the modification I've suggested, there would be a checkmark or something on the character you own in the bundle's store display, letting you know that you've already purchased it. I think that would help customers here shop more intelligently and avoid wasting money.

With the browser plugin from another thread it actually greys out the products you own when looking at what is included in the bundle

The browser add-on is great but since I shop mostly on my iPad, not usable. Daz itself should do something so I don't see starter bundles for sale when I already own the pro bundle.

I'd have to agree. If you already own the entirety of the bundle, it should qualify as actually owning the bundle.

Not necessarily. There are bundles in the shop where the bundle has some extra stuff, not just the items it is made up of. For example: http://www.daz3d.com/rock-grass-bundle

But I would say all of the pro character bundles are like this, too, with the anatomical elements.

I talked to them about it 3 years ago, the short answer was that it's complex and difficult to fix because of the data structure so it had been "sidelined". Judging from the long answer and the technical explanation I got I suspect it may not be fixed at all.
