Stupid question about Rendering

If you don't have a good enough computer to render your project.  Is it possible to hire someone with a good enough computer to do your rendering?

The use of render farms is allowed, but only if the content is accessible only to you and is not kept on the system - neither would be likely to apply to getting a friend or colleague to provide the computing power.
