how make scenes open from a camera view

Hello - i have a camera set up on the view that I want in a scene but when i close then re-open the scene it often opens from a different vantage point. Is there something I need to do to have a camera view act as the primary/or default view of a scene?  Thank you!

Make sure you have a (the) camera selected (for example, camera 1) as the active camera in the view tab, before you save. If you haven't, the scene will load with the default Perspective view.
