HFS Space System - how to keep planet halo facing camera???

Hey any an all,

I've been mucking around with the HFS Space System (had for a few years but have never really gotten into using it - till now).

I thought I might have difficulty getting it working in Iray - that was the easy bit.

For the life of me, I can't work out how to keep the planet halo (a double-layered billboard, as far as I can tell) facing the camera. When everything is set up zeroed out, it's all fine; move the planet or the camera and all you end up with is a double line intersecting the planet. If I then parent the halo to the camera in use, it will set itself in the correct orientation but I can't imagine that is how it's supposed to be used (WHY do I keep buying products with no user guide??!!).....

Regarding the test renders; please excuse the lighting etc as they're just to show the problem...

BTW, can anyone tell me how a product can be released for DAZ Studio but be in the form of a Poser runtime (like the HFS Space System is)?? Confuses the hell out of me and stuffs up my filing system (wah!!)..

Any help would be appreciated,

Oh, I forgot to ask; anyone know why he's using double-layered plains? He's even using one for the rings so a proper edge on render isn't possible...
