How do you know what has been updated in an update?

Where do you get information on what has been updated in a product update?

I get updates on some products multiple times, yet have no clue as to what is fixed in them.

Any ideas?

There SHOULD be something written in the ReadMe that states what got updated, but a LOT of times, there's not. So often, your guess is as good as mine. :D

Yes, wouldn't it be nice if the ReadMe was always updated?!

If it's a PC+ item, then there's a thread stickied to the Members Forum where Jen Greenlees usually posts what changes were made to them - here's a link:

For other items there's a thread where Fixmypcmike posts lists of changes he's noted (but only for products he owns and on an irregular basis, just as a kindness to other forum visitors) - you can find his latest posts here:

...yeah I had a huge list of updates in the DIM.Not sure if it was because of Metadata or Iray.

  • I wish we could see it in the DIM.

There could be a little note attached for when we right click on an update...

    That would be nice.

In the DIM, clicking the little i in a circle will open the readme, but as others have said, they are not always updated to show what was changed.
