how to make lray render faster

hi guys so i use daz 3d for like 4month now and my renderig is very slow how can i make it faster

Seriously though, what's in your scene? Are you using an Nvidia card - what model is it? Does your scene actually fit in your card's ram (if using an nvidia card)?

 

A few things that affect render times that come to the top of my head

Transparency/translucency - the pc needs to calculate "oh, there's geometry there, can light pass through? how much can pass through? how much gets reflected back?"

reflections and mirrors - how much light is bouncing back? what geometry can be seen in the reflection? how clear is that geometry?

Geoshells - I've noticed that adding a geoshell to anyhting really increases render times, probably because the double layer of textures.

How much light is in your scene? the more light, the easier it is for the pc to reach a point where the pixels don't have to change much to reach the convergence ratio.
