Lip sync problems
in New Users
Hello
How do you get the key frames and the audio you imported to show up at the same time. I must have did something wrong because I can play my audio file and lip sync it to my character, but no key frames show at all.
Thanks
Dave

What keyframes are you looking for - on the speech movements? Those may be on the head if they aren't on the figure node.
I don't really know. I was watching a youtube video, and it showed all his key frames with a dot. Each time he changed a animation frame. Then right under it showed the audio. When I play my animation. My character mouth moves and the audio plays, but the key frame dots are not there. I was in sequencer and moving my audio a few frames back. Them when I came out of sequencer, none of my key frames were showing. My video still plays, but I can't delete any key frames if I can't see them. When I sa the youtube video with the key frames, and the audio below. I thought it would be so much easier to sync my video with my audio if I could see both at the same time. I just can't get there.
Was this in Daz Studio? Which pane was being used? Do you have a link to the video?
I've never been able to play audio with the lip sync shot in Daz. I've only been able to export the video, often as a low-res (not Iray) .mov and then sync up the video and audien in a program like Premiere Pro. I see if the sync matches, make adjustments, and re-render. Do this until you have the effect you want, then do the full-res render.
Rendering to an image sequence and assembling that in Premiere may give better results.
"some channels defined in the current configuration file could not be found on the figure. lip-syncing may not be as accurate as expected. see the log file for details"
please help !! and thanx
