Anyone have a link to a good rigging tutorial that isn't video?
I have some vague notions of making figures and stuff, but I couldn't even begin to figure out how to get legs to bend or whatever.

A bit old but cheap and probably still useful for learning the basics (I link to the bundle for it costs the same as the individual items).

Hm, looks like the RDNA sale has ended so not so cheap anymore...
The Littlefox tutorial is, as far as I recall, exclusively for Legacy(Parametric) rigging.
I'll see how much I can figure out from the basic stuff in Help/wiki. It looks a bit... old, but might help with basics.
Going to start with a worm made from a cylinder. ;)

This tutorial is also a bit old but it does cover weight mapping. I got it on sale at some point last year.
I have this same tutorial. It was helpful to me. In general, I agree that it is good to have some pdf versions of tutorials to refer to as references. However, once you start getting into the jcms and the weightmaps, I recommend the videos on Josh Darling's youtube channel.
