Why is posing one model taking so long to load, while others are quick in the same scene?

Hello all, I hope I'm posting this in the right place, but I'm trying to set up my first big scene and am using the Saffron model for one character.  My problem though is, every time I go to move her, it takes at least 30 seconds for even a minor change.  Othrer models in the scene work just fine and very smoothly, but she is a chore to pose.  Any idea why?

    It could be that she is the only one wearing clothes with smooting on - select any figures fitted to her and look in the parametrs pane - if there's a mesh Smoothing group make sure smoothing is set to off until you are ready to render (or until you want to make sure there's no poke-through in the clothes).

    And make absolutely sure that Interactive Update (in the Mesh Smoothing parameters) is OFF.
