A Question about Autofit from Genesis to Genesis 3

The Problem with autofit on a Clothing item (Vintage Wetsuit http://www.daz3d.com/vintage-wetsuit ) made for Genesis. When I tried to autofit to Genesis 3, the Jacket the forearms of sleeves are offset halfway with the center of Genesis 3 Male’s Forearm plus the most back of the arm is peeking through the back of the jacket.

My Idea is it possible to do an autofit from Genesis to Genesis 2 which appears to work flawlessly.  Can I save the new autofitted Item for Genesis 2 & then re-autofit it from Genesis 2 to Genesis 3?

Or

Genesis > Genesis 2 > Save > Genesis 3

Thank you for your help…

    Yes, that should work.

This product works great and avoids the hassle of the intermediate fit and save technique.

Yes, that's how it's supposed to work. Each Genesis generation is by default only equipped with Autofit data for the previous generation. Unless you buy one of the converters that adds autofit options to let you go directly to G3 in one step.

Note that each time you run something through Autofit, you lose a little bit of fidelity to the original shape. The less steps you have to go through, the better.
