Creating/saving poses

Is there a tutorial or script or something that can help a not-so-saavy person like me make new poses for my "Poses Library"? I used to do it with my poser runtime way back with Daz 3, using a script I got from Daz. Now I'm using Gen 3 and Daz 4.9 Beta. I'd like to be able to create a pose, save just the pose rotations and settings (but no facial posing or figure morphs) and have it show in my poses library under Genesis 3 so I can click on its little picture like any other poses I have there and use it on any other gen 3 figure (female) again. My library is very limited and so are funds for buying stuff. I've found some nice freebies, but they also affect the face and some morphs. I don't mind making poses, in fact it used be alot of fun, but I just don't know how to do it in the new Daz.

Thank you.

All you need to do to save a pose is to click on the figure whose pose you want to save, and then use the menu File->Save As->Pose Preset.

It will prompt you where to save the pose file (a duf file), so browse to your personal DAZ library and save under People/Genesis 3/Female/Pose

In addition to this, if you just want to save a partial then expand the menu you get when prompted and only check the body part(s) you want to be saved such as hands or arms, etc

Thanks for this thread.   I'm able to save a pose using the instructions above by Havos.  That seems to work fine.  However I'm unable to then load the saved file back in to DAZ.   DAZ throws up a generic error, telling me to go to the log for details, but I don't know where the log is.

Not sure if this is possible.  What I'm hoping to do is save my own poses right in the program so they appear in the interface like all the built-in poses.  Then I want to use my poses for animating in the timeline.  You know, put two poses on the timeline and let DAZ draw the transitions between the two poses.

    Thanks.

I found the log file, it says...

2019-01-11 17:10:47.793 Invalid node selection for "preset_pose" type.
