Actually, I have been doing some organic modeling lately or trying.

Organic = not so good at this end.  My basic form for a dog's body done my way is light years beyond the original crude attempts, but any attempts at sculpting always end in disaster. Example: a simple cut to the little blue circle here has huge consequences. BTTDB!

http://www.daz3d.com/noggin-s-cow is a better looking cow

Heh, I missed your comment the first time around but the Noggins cow came up for me in the DAZ store just now, yeah. (I forget what I was searching for and am now unable to replicate my search - go figure.) sad

I have a landscape model from a DAZ affiliate site that might be good for the cow or the DAZ bison... just sayin'.

You will have to set-up the scene and render it out for us here. :)  I like some of the sky backgrounds.  I have been watching some blender videos on making landscapes. I have some ideas. :) I get my drawing tablet thursday so I will get back to trying to paint the daz cow a new hide. lol

I did get my tablet and well ..anyways I mentioned what happened on my art thread. I have worked on creating a new hide. I have to get use to the 'painting' part, but I am slowly getting there. I have been a bit sidetracked lately here, but posted a few things on my art thread. I have been learning new stuff which is helpful. I will probably just post things there for now. :)

Riiiighht... in the Hexagon section they touched on "Substance Painter" in a message thread... that's the company that supports this strange (.SBSAR) graphics format that they have on textures dot com... unbelievable screen shots on the S.P. home page (www.allegorithmic.com) of what I think is . I did actually use a quadruped in some artwork... just kidding it's only the "head", tacked onto the "wall", heh. This picture took me several weeks, on and off. Very complicated! My late uncle had a bunch of those trophy things so in a way I'm poking a bit of fun at him, posthumously as it were, eg. this would be a picture for my aunt who has said (to me) "Don't bring any dogs over! I have enough dogs!!!" sort of thing.

My uncle's things, like a pronghorn from Wyoming and a caribou (from Alaska, I think) were unbelievably life-like. Better even than the American Museum in NYC.

No they pasture in the field that borders my property in the summer. The kids feed them apples so they hang out at my fence a lot.

I have Black angus I just don't have good enough photos of them. They become creatures of habit when getting treats. Mine are like that. haha :)

This is where the LAMH might come in handy to get the fuzzy ears. I have some who get really hairy in the winter the next one's coat stays pretty slick just thicker is all.
