Surface Pro 4 and Daz Studio?

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Anyone out there tried using DS on this "tablet"? 

Not concerned with rendering on one, just using to set up scenes while other machine is rendering.

Also, kinda silly question, if I create a scene on a Windows machine, will it work on a Mac?

    As long as both machines have exactly the same content installed, it should work. Watch out, though, for scenes in the first machine that save or update files to the /data/ folder; these files will of course not exist on the second machine, unless you copy them across to exactly the same folders. If there is anything missing on the second machine, you'll get a nice collection of can't-find-file errors.

    Rob tells me he uses a Surface pro 3, and other people use Pro 4 and Book versions, for posing then render with Iray Server so yes it is known to be working.
