As long as it doesn't get nasty or heated (totally agree about that) I think it's absolutely imperative that we know when we are not getting a good deal. I think I have a right to know, so does everyone else, so we can wait until we are given better prices. But I can see your point of view too.

I only got 10%. So it's not a great discount. I spent to much money last month.
I won't buy content knowing others were offered a huge discount and I'm expected to pay next to full price or am offered a puny comparative discount.
Sorry but If the discount being offered is 90 percent then I will wait until I receive a comparative discount or they can keep their merchandise.
I greatly loathe this divisive sales tactic.
It is not a sales tactic. It was to show appreciation for past purchases and they chose to do a discount based on number of specific past purchases related to the new items.
It's not like DAZ is playing favorites, they are not offering different discounts to different random people. That would be a Divisive Sales Tactic! This was a personal thank you for money spent in the past. People that spend more should be given special recognition.
I don't see DAZ being fickle about LOYALTY. Loyalty is time invested not, not money. Over and over I have seen them make statements they appreciate ALL their customers and try and do their best to continue to upgrade their program for FREE!
People often confuse Fair with Equal and those are NOT the same things.
Unfortunately, DAZ often doesn't communicate clearly the methods, calculations, and reasons behind their sales. So who gets what isn't often clear and their sale terms are often simultaneously murky.
Unfortunately in the past they have sent different discounts to random people. So they aren't above doing that.
In the end: I'm not going to buy stuff that others get for 90% off. Just not. Regardless of whether it is a loyalty reward or a random gift.
I'll wait until it comes off new , and pick it up at a deep dish discount for DAZ originals when it is priced what I deem to be fair- which is steeply discounted. The reason is, I just can't pay full price or a high cost for something I know has been steeply discounted like this. It just doesn't seem a good value to me.
No great loss. Not interested in Lucian or Monique HD morphs anyway- Although I would've picked up Darius's.
I think I will pass on this also. Decent discount perhaps, for me, but too many hoops, and not compelling enough.
No hoops. You either qualify for a discount (of some level) or you don't, based on previous activity.
I loaded the 3 HD Add-Ons in my cart, checked out and paid the <$6. Simplies.
Well, there's no way DAZ can completely hide the information. People will find out one way or another. So it's something that should be taken into consideration when creating the specials -- does the added sales potential outweigh the possible illwill that might be generated?
Personally, I don't mind if someone gets a bonus for buying a lot more stuff than I do. Having said that, I can see how other people would be be put off by it.

See, I think the thing is, when the good discount is in our favour, we're happy. When it's not, we are bummed. Human nature I guess. Annoyed that some people are getting 90% off so they can easily buy 3 new HD's to add to their collection...whereas those of us who havne't been able to afford more HD's, can't get the big discount to add more to their collection. LOL. It's just natural I guess. I don't begrudge ANYONE getting good discounts at this store - EVER. If you can get 90% off something, go for it.

got the thre new hd-adds Darius is my favorite lots of detail then Monique she even has some lumps on her belly and back not sure if pimples or moles probably moles but that's a mice added detail and again lots in Darius pose I selected dosn't show it all off and probably should've used a brighter normal light/s but think it still shows off fair bit used
