I think that I have a simple question.

My system is an HP Pavilion Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit that is 8 years old with an NVidia GE Force 9100 card (with total memory 3815).  When I run dxdiag is shows that I'm running display in 32 bit mode.

I want to install the newest NVidia drivers that I can find but it says that the 64 bit version is for the GE FORCE 9100M card.  How do I find out exactly which drivers I should be using?

The 32 bit is the graphics mode not the system mode which will be 64 bit.

Go to the Nvidia site and have it autodetect your card...

Or use a piece of software like Speccy to tell you exactly what hardware is in your system.

The newest one for your card is 342...which isn't all that new.

Thank you everyone.  Looks like I have 334.89 version.  I'll try all the suggestions till I find one that works for me.

Edit - It says that the drivers I have are the most up to date.  This is not good because I have some software that wants newer drivers to run.  Runs but very slowly.  My last hope for this PC was to get better drivers but not going to happen I guess.

Edit edit - woohoo, got the 342 installed.  Hopefully this helps run my newer softwares.

Would never merge threads by 2 completely different people unless it was a total duplicate, Kulays problem is not going to be the same as yours.
