Morphing Freak 4 character into a Toon character and high school senior.
I need a character that is like the Freak 4 morphs shown in the attached image (Freak1). But I want to use the Toon Generations characters for my story. The main character is a younger boy (shown in attached image (MainCharacter1). I like the stylization (look and feel) of the Toon Generation characters and objectsand want the Freak character to have that look and feel.
I also want the Freak character to be a teenager (senior in high school). What products would I need to do this? I know there are products that morph different ages, but I am not sure which one would work best with the Freak 4 character.
I also am wondering where the Freak 5 and Freak 6 characters are? They are listed when I do a Search on the Freak, but when the thumbnails are displayed, I do not see a Freak 5 or Freak 6 product. Do they exist?

Comments
I am searching for the Freak 5 and Freak 6 characters. When I type them in the search, I only get Freak 4. When I use the Animals and Creatures filter, I still do not get the Freak 5 and Freak 6 figures. Am I missing something?

Don't think there was a Freak 6
Freak 5
Freak 5 search with everything.
Probably the closest character to Freak proportions for Generation 6 would be http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-swole-for-the-minotaur-6
Whoops. I forgot to post the images...
There is a Large Freak like character named Tank in the Animated Shapes morphs Might work for you
Its for Genesis 2 Male
http://www.daz3d.com/animated-for-genesis-2-male-s-bundle
Freak 4 is based on Michael 4, but the Growing Up package is designed for Michael 6. Will I be able to use the Growing Up package with Freak 4? There does not appear to be a Freak 6 package that is based on Michael 6. Am I correct? I would rather use the most up-to-date package (M6 and Freak 6) if I can.
Thanks!
I see Freak 5 now.
I will also check out Genesis 2 Swole for the minotaur.
A morph pack for genesis 2 (Michael 6 and friends) won't work with 4th generation (M4, Freak 4 and friends)
There isn't a Freak 6 for Genesis 2 Male. Growing Up for G2M will work combined with any Genesis 2 male.
Genesis 3 Male can use RawArt's 'Massive' morphs to be Freak-like (and there's a Growing Up for G3M).
http://www.daz3d.com/massive-morphs-for-genesis-3-male-s
http://www.daz3d.com/massive-morphs-for-genesis-2-male-s <- Genesis 2 Male version of Massive in case you're set on using Genesis 2 and Michael 6
I think that since there are Massisve char/morph for both G2 and G3 male/female, Daz3D decided not to do a freak 6/7 (or it seems to).
I can't disagree more because there is a huge room left here in G2 and more important G3. Those chars can be used in many ways (fantasy, sci-fi, super heroes etc...), they can have what we call in France une GUEULE (a strong face), some scary and/or strong skins and there are many good (selling) argument for them.
If daz3D is doubting about a Freak7 sale, just watch the huge success of Georges!
EDIT: and about swole, I don't think that he fits in that freak role very well. He's more a body builder (under steroids). The freak is more....a freak. a monster, muscled, but with a personality, a strang face, a skin which can tell a story by itself
There is no Freak 6, but here's a product that will give you the iconic Freak 5 shapes (but with use for Genesis 2 Males):
http://www.daz3d.com/generation-5-legacy-shapes-for-genesis-2-male
With that package you're getting ALL the Freak 5 morphs (which include two different bodies and six different heads), along with the head and body morphs for Michael 5, David 5, Hiro 5, and Justin. It'd strongly recommend that as an alternative if you primarily work in Genesis 2 as you're getting a considerable bang for the buck with that package. When I started off in DAZ a couple of years ago, I bought the legacy shapes for Gen 5 and Gen 4 and they gave me a very wide variety of characters and body shapes to work with for a very long time. They're a good investment.
For some reason, there's no Freak 6 (or David 6 or Hiro 6 for that matter). The Legacy shapes helped to soften that blow.
This has a Freak 4 morph for G2M http://www.daz3d.com/generation-4-legacy-shapes-for-genesis-2-male
Merged threads as they are on essentially the same topic - getting a Freak version that will work with Growing Up, or another way to teenify the Freak figure.
Made with Genesis 3 Male, its head and body morphs packages, 3DU's Toon Generations 2 male and RawArts Massive for G3M. There is some weirdness at outer edge of the pecs near where they merge into the arms.
Edit to add that the hair is from 3DU's Toon Generation 2 hair bundle and the pants are from Sway's Mr Hyde for Genesis 1.
RawArt! Thanks! I need a whole series of human monster like characters and RawArt seems to have many that I could adapt. And I like your morph! The character is a bit young, but I get the point. I may need some help once I get started.
Thanks everyone for the great ideas!
How’s this for Freak teenager
I used genesis for a base:
.5 Mike 4
.25 Freak 4
.25 Freak 5
.5 Guy 3 (I don’t have any toon characters, but I guess you could substitute that instead)
and Growing Ups – Older teen.
Also
.25 Leg length
-.25 Waist Size
-.35 Hip width
-.5 Neck size
I used bunch of other tweaks, but I think you get the idea.
I transferred Freak 5 morph over with Gen X. This is the base Toon Generations 2 male loaded and then the freak morph added at 100%. He looks pretty good I think.
If you are wanting to do the 'Freak' style, you need to dial up the brow ridge high, the eyes small and deepset, then you need to dial the mouth and nose smaller. It help to have, who is it, RawArts?, the flattop haircut for one of the Genesis lines, I think G2M, then dial up the muscularity, shorten the legs, and lengthen the arms and wala!, you then have a proper Neaderthal looking or high school football lineman type character. These being linemen you may or may not want to give them a small waist and hips and big belly - it all depends on how toon like you want the final result to be.
Nonesuch00, Jed and Greycat, thanks for the input. I think that I can use your input to actually produce the character that I need. Lots of options...
You might also want to check out Captain Charisma for G3M by 3DUniverse. Much smoother contours, and not a brutish face, but the general porportions are pretty similar.
Good suggestion! I just have to make him a bit more nasty, but it seems as if that would be a very good place to start.
Do I need to buy the Genesis 3 Male? I searched my Smart Content for Genesis 3 Male and I do not have it. I have Genesis Starter Essentials. Also, is there a separate morphing package for the Genesis 3 Male that I need to buy?
What base figures do you have (genesis, genesis2, genesis3)?
What kind of a character are you trying to create?
I always use genesis, because I have the most morphs for it (hundreds)
It create the best characters IMHO.
Here's Freak 4 and Hiro 4 plus LOADS of morphs on Genesis.
I have Genesis, Genisis 2 Base, and Genesis 3 Male, and Toon Generations Base.
I hav the FREAK, Sadie and Sam for Genesis, Brandon, Lee 6, Logan, Michael 2.0, Michael 3.0 Base, and Millenium Boys.
Seems rather simple to me. The only real option is Genesis 1. Neither Genesis 2 nor Genesis 3 are appropriate, because they have separated too many things. The whole idea with original Genesis is that a single figure could give you all genders and all level of creatures while all wearing the same skins and clothes.
That said, all you need is a convincing teen morph for Genesis 1, which is extremely easy to come by and if need be you can pull a morph from another figure using GenX. This is one area where Genesis 1 exceeds far beyond any of the later Genesis offerings. Best of luck.
Genesis 1.
Someone (in fact possibly more than one someone) also has various morph packages which adjust Genesis 1 to the basic shape of all of the gen4 characters. Freak included. In addition, Genesis 1 can use all of the skins from gen4 natively. You just have to choose which UV you want from the pop=up in the surfaces tab.
Yeah, that's what I used.
Mind you, if I were doing more of this I'd probably want to pick up one of those figures where the head is already square-jawed, because it was hard to compensate for Hiro's facial features.
These Genesis morph sets by Joe Quick have some square-jawed faces:

https://www.daz3d.com/extraordinary-men-for-d5-and-genesis
https://www.daz3d.com/stock-characters-for-genesis-male
Depending on how much you dial in the morphs in the above sets, you can go from fairly realistic to fairly toony.
