Problems with the free bundle and coupon

So, I put the new Dynamic Lingerie and Robe releases in my cart and added the free V7 Starter bundle...NP.  Everything looks right.  I added two more non new PA items and one of the RawArt sale items. I tried to apply the January PA Coupon and it gave me $2 off, even though I had $21 in non new PA items in the cart.  I took out the V7 bundle and then the coupon worked.  But, I lose out on the V7 freebie.  So I thought I'd do two carts, taking out the non new releases and checking them out separately.  Well, because I don't have the new releases in the cart, the non new items jumped up by $5.  So, now I'm getting the $6 off, but it only amounts to a dollar after the other prices shot up.  So, buying them separately to save a dollar, doesn't seem like a good use of a $6 coupon.

Anyone know that best way to handle this?

This is a known issue and Jack mentioned in the PC+ forums that he is going to try his "hammer".

But for now you may want to create a separate order with V7 and ONLY whatever items that may be necessary to trigger it to be free. Don't use the coupon in that order. Create another order for the rest of the items and apply your coupon there. Summarily, do not use your coupons if you want the full $6 discount to apply if your cart already contains an eligible free item.

There is of course always an option to raise a support ticket to claim the missing amount in the discount in case you want in in the same order.

 I've spent quite a lot of cash with them over the past few months.  If they're smart, they'll offer me a free PC+ renewal, just to keep the sales going. ;)

I have to tell you that it's rough after having the Holiday Loyalty Discount, to go back to regular intro pricing. :)

Unless they can get the cart fixed, it looks like my best option is to pair the coupon with a new PC+ item and the the two non new items.  That gets me the whole coupon...even though, I don't really need the extra item.  Then, I can buy the 2 new releases and the V7 bundle separately.
