Single geoshell for severall items?

Is ist possible to make a single geoshell for several items at once? I didn't find a way so far. And if I put dirt shaders on a figure and on clothing separately, the dirt spots don't match and look fake.

That's a function of the UV layout, adding a single shell won't help.

If possible, mess with the scaling of the dirt between items.  Also the H offset and the V offset can help make things look more like they line up.

Do you have a screenshot of the dirt spots not matching?  Maybe suggestions can be offered based on that.

Iray shaders or 3DL? With 3DL there were some projection shaders that worked without UV maps. Have you tried exporting all the items combined as an object, remapping it as a single UV map, then creating a geoshell based on that?

Actually I work with 3Delight. And,  @Cybersox13, your suggestion seems worth trying, thanks!
@Sriesch, it is not a special single figure I try to do. I'm planing a scene with more than one dirty(+bloody) figures, including a horse and a rider, trying to match each single figure and its clothing and weaponry separately doesn't make sense, in that case simple postwork would be faster and looking better.
