How to set up a simple backdrop properley?

Hi. It's the second time I use a backdrop. I download a 1080p photo from google and I can't make it work as backdrop. I set it but when I render it. It's looks all white. This don't happen when I use a HDRI backdrop. What can I do?

It may be getting unneeded gamma correction. Click the thumbnail to open the image picker emnu, then select Image Editor and check the gamma value. Also check your gamma correction options in Render Settings.
