    daz server seems to be totally down - pages don't come at at, "is it down right now" says it's down too. no idea why the forum works tho' - different server?

    I get

    "What happened?

    The web server reported a bad gateway error."

    Daz server appears down. So I thank the DAZ IT techs working Christmas eve like Bob Cratchet, and hope they get it working soon. If not I have picked up a LOT of essentially free items already, so I'm pretty happy about that. In either case Happy Holidays to the DAZ team, and a heartfelt thank you!

     

    EDIT: Apparently Bob Cratchet got his bucket of coal and fired up the servers. I was able to get through and gather my presents. So thank you again!

    I have a new release in my cart. I keep getting sent to a "Bad Gateway" when trying to check out. 

    Now the coupon is not valid. LOL

    Too many people trynna get their freebies. :D

    UPDATE: after a little while off and on, daz seems to be fine again, at least here/for me, everything went fine.

    everything i.e. i could pick 8 items, load my cart, and go through the whole process without a hitch. i hope everyone else could too now!

    so here again, i want to thank DAZ very warmly for their absolutely awesome week before xmas! one of, if not THE best freebie event ever. it was absolutely amazing for me, since i can hardly afford at all such a bunch of purchases in a month, and especially right now where my dcard has been cancelled (been hacked, not here, 90% sure i know which "other" shop) and i couldn't purchase 1 single thing anywhere for 3 weeks with all bargains going. so DAZ, i won't forget this. ^_^

  • I'd hate to send a ticket because I'm sure they're being flooded with them and are working on it....but nothing is working for me still. Should I wait or send one anyway?

  • I got my freebies early and everything went smoothly. It looks like the servers are overloaded today, so I would hold off on sending in a ticket and just try again a few more times.

    Are you sure you don't have any other, regular, freebies in the cart? Or any other items from the freebie selection that you were intending to pay for? Both can confuse the coupon-gnomes.

    Richard...I just figured that out actually. LOL  I went back and saw I had two "free" items that were in with the  bonus section and thought...HMMMMMM. That's what was throwing it off. As soon as I removed them it worked. *sigh* After two days of cooking and baking...my brain is fried. Yeah...that's it. :D Thanks for the responses Will and Richard. :D Glad I waited! :D

    The coupon worked for me....more or less.  It wants a penny for my order, not exactly free.

    Have you followed all the steps above?  What's in your cart?

    Maybe try clearing your cache and trying again?

    Is the 8th day bonus still available?  The banner no longer shows at the top for me now.

    I have been at this off and on all day.  For a short period of time Daz3d.com went down.  Since it has come back up, the banner regarding the Bonus is not appearing, and when I try to use the code I get 'Coupon code "DAY-EIGHT-BONUS" is not valid'.

    EDIT:
    Never mind!  Cleared my shopping cart ... started over ... problem solved.  Still don't know why the banner isn't showing up at the top, but the coupon code worked nonetheless.

    Daz, I can tell y'all have been doing all you could today.  Thanks so much for all you do, have done, and I'm looking forward to the great things to come. Merry Christmas to all!

    It sounds like you've been logged out perhaps? Try loging in (or if you ARE logged in, try logging out then back in). The site has been having issues today and it seems to help to log out and then back in. The day 8 bonus should be good for at least the next two hours.

    didnt work for me either, and couldnt even report it, as the forums would not allow me to post. figured it may have been heavy web traffic, but when i returned later to try again, the promo was gone.

    Didn't work for me, but midnight had just rolled around Saturday morning Daz time and things usually take a while to get rolling here.

    So I tried again at 6:45 AM Saturday, still didn't work.

    Got off late from work close to midnight Christmas eve so I didn't even bother to try again, but hey, I figured there's 12 days of Christmas.  Right?

    Maybe after the holiday, Daz will give us a redo since it wasn't working.  That's my Christmas wish.

    Even so, Daz didn't have to have a freebie giveaway, but chose to do so for us.  So thanks Daz.  Merry Christmas.
