CGTrader Question

Can you use the items being sold in this store in Daz 3D Studio? And if yes, what shold be the format and how do you import it to Daz 3d Studio?

    Yes, but most of the time they aren't 'plug and play'...they won't be rigged or if they are (fbx...if it imports correctly), the rigging will probably need to be adjusted.

    Obj format would be the easiest, most of the time but it would result in a static prop...and possibly need to have the materials reappied/created from scratch.

    What do you mean by static prop? Like it cant be moved? Have you tried importing products from there to Daz?

    Static prop...like a statue, no moving parts, everything is a solid 'mass'.

    Basically you get a 'raw' mesh that needs to be rigged/turned into a prop/figure.  For somethings...a chair, for example, it's just a matter of making sure the textures are applied correctly and saving it as a prop.  But for a desk, the drawers will need to be rigged, if you want them to open.
