Coupon won't work

I've been trying to use the day three bonus coupon but it's not working. Any suggestions as to why that might be?

    Make sure that you don't have any leading or trailin spaces if you copied and pasted the code.  Make sure you have no more than the 4 free items and the qualifying new item in the cart, or just 3 free items if no new product.

    That worked. Had an extra item in there not related to that order. Thank you!
