Working with backgrounds and Sky Domes
Hi all,
I am fairley new to Daz but am enjoying it greatly. On of the big issues I am having is when using the Sky Dome. Every time I add the dome and go to render, all the lighing I have added basicly goes away. The distant lights I have added have no effect and all other lighting is extremely muted. This is causing my scenes to be nearly black. I do understand how lighing works in the real world (I spent 5 years doing sound and lighting design for a regional profesional equity house theatre) but the physics of the program are throwing me a bit.
The other question is in regards to the "Ready to Render - Fiery Genesis" scene. How is that background/backdrop added. I haven't been able to find anything in the user guides as to this.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank You very much. That explains a lot, I can't believe that it was right in front of me. I really need to spend some time reading through other parts of the forums.
