  • The short version.

Shoes don't convert worth a fud between generations, gen 4, genesis, g2, g3 etc.

fastest and easiest solution is to put the character in the position you want then load the boots, not fitting to, use them as a "prop", posing accoringly to match the figure. Adjust fit dials as needed to get a better look, parent them to the base figure to keep them with the figure.

With boots you can get away with hiding the toes, feet and shins, depending on length.

For the most part you should be able to match the pose by using the values in the various leg dials, thigh, shin, foot, toes directly, but may have to tweak a bit to get a good match.

The long version involves exporting the item as an obj, correcting modeling problems, such as seperated parts, in a modler, then bringing the item back into daz studio, rerigging for the particular figure, adding weight maps, push modifiers, smoothing modifiers, etc and making sure material areas are defined properly.

  • k the frist part i understand^^. The scond was a bit tricky. And i think that this is nothing what i can learn after useing DAZ3d after a week. But thank you for your answer.
