What does this error message mean?

I never got this before but I am not and I can't render. What is this? What does it mean? How can I fix it. I really hope someone can help.

    It looks like you are in the Basic or Intermediate render modes (OpenGL).  If you are rendering to the viewport (or new window) and you switch away from it/block it wth something else, the render can be corrupted.

    To fix, switch to Iray or 3Delight for rendering.

    Thank you! I don't know how it got on that setting but I'm gladd you could identify the problem.
