How does one uninstall a plug in from Studio?

If I wanted to uninstall a plug in from Daz Studio how would I go about doing that?  It doesn't show up in my DIM list of installed items.  Do I need to do it inside of Studio or delete the files off my pc?  I need to uninstall the Reality plug in but can't figure out how to do it.

    There are various places where the program is located.

    • C:\Program Files\Reality_DS
    • C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\plugins\Reality
    • C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4\Reality
    • And there are quite a few files in the content folder under the data, runtime, lights, props and Luxball folders.

    You can just remove the installed files - the ones you need to get shot of are the ones in the plug-ins folder, the rest will have no effect

    Do not forget to deactivate Reality before uninstalling it.

     

    Here is what says the user manual:

    3.13 Unregistering Reality
    If, for any reason, you need to remove the registration for your copy of Reality you can do that from the Help menu. This is how it’s done:
    - Run Reality
    - From the Help menu of the program select “Unregister Reality”
    - You will be asked to confirm the operation
    - If you confirm the unregistering of Reality the program will erase its registration information and then close

    I uninstalled mine from the control panel/programs and now it keeps coming up an error every time I open Daz ,so I supose that is how not to do it.

    Thanks everyone!  I went in to the files and folders and just deleted everything.  It seems to have worked just fine.
