Is December trying to grab as many as possible before the year is up, or what?!?!?

Dagnabbit, 2016! Stop taking all our people! Especially the musicians and actors. What is up with that??? Is there a big stage call upstairs?
Two theories:
Death is coming up for a performance review and quickly rushing through a backlog.
Bowie was part of the critical binding force of the universe, and when he went... kapow
there are just so many others that seem to escape the scythe who are ripe for the harvest.
The year started fairly rubbish, and seems hell-bent on ending the same way.
Sadly, what with hold old I am, and thre people (musicina, etc.,) I grew up with, this is only going to get worse ...
When I was in my senior year in high school, my English teacher told us that one of the worst things about middle age was seeing all the movie stars you grew up idolizing dying off in bulk. He was right.
Maybe they'll be back...
2016 ugh blarg. Why do you have to do us this way? I'm not sure I can take much more of this nonsense.
I'm actually still not over the loss of Robin Williams which seems like a few months ago but was 2 years ago. I think maybe it just took that long for me to finally and truly believe he's actually gone. Such a constant figure in my life and my "go to" guy to cheer me up. I think it FINALLY sunk in this year that he's really truly forever gone.
2016 has been particularly bad and hard on me though. With the holidays coming up it's going to be REALLY hard without my Grandma this year - she was more like a mom to me. The holidays were her thing. She brought us all together and made a huge deal out of everything - decorating and cooking and filling her home with lovely Christmas memories. I'm really struggling this year. Depression returned for the first time in many many years. I'm really looking forward to 2017 to come, and I hope it's waaaaaay better than 2016. I have hope that it will be. 2016 has just been too much of a kick in the head.
Yes, Robin Williams was really, really rough. I loved the man :( *sniff*. This year tho seems to be a bad year for actors and musicians....and those of use who loved them. However, as long as we can still see them on the screen, it's like they're not REALLY gone, just "away" :) I was watching MASH the other day and musing at how many of them were actually gone - and that those that are left are in their 70s and 80s. It can get quite depressing if you let it. It's never fun when you reach the age that your OWN mortality really sinks in. But life is made for living and death is only that short part at the end, so have fun and enjoy yourself before it comes. I'm sure most of the folks we've lost did exactly that :).
