Hat Head Deformers not working

Hi,

I just purchased Hat Head Deformers https://www.daz3d.com/deformers-plus-hat-head

I'm using v4 and the magnets aren't working at all and I find the manual to be confusing. First I load one of the magnets, they appear at floor level so I parent it to the hair. However when I toggle the magnet dials nothing seems to happen. What am I missing out?

    Usually when working with magnets/D-Formers, you must select the object the D-Former is supposed to affect before loading the D-Former. Are you selecting the hair, or just loading the D-Former with nothing selected? I don't think it works right if you parent to the hair afterwards.

    Yes I forgot to mention that I select the hair first. Didn't work.
