...this is probably my biggest kitbash job I ever did. It includes Aslan Court 2, Moonshade's diner, Preatorian Turret, and Garden Collection (the shades on the hanging lights over the booths are the Moonshade's Diner roof).

Great composition...my eyes roam all over picking out all the little details and unique characters. I can't imagine how long it took for you to bring it all together.

...thanks.  Yeah took quite a bit to get the Diner and Aslan Court sets to fit together just right. The lamp shade was a real pain as it involved a lot of tricky use of the Geometry (then Polygon) Editor not only to get rid of the parts I didn't need but also to make the glowing ring and centre portion. Fortunately I only had to do one thanks to the Instancing tool.

That was also Rendered in 3DL using AaA's advanced lights.

    Hi

Kit bashing is VITAL to us animators who do Sci fi environments.

Since I import all of by assets fromDaz studio to Maxon C4D for rendering I have the option of splitting the objects by group upon import.
This gives us tremendous freedom to use only parts of a large Stone mason set or animate moving parts where there were not any originally rigged by the  product creator.

Here are some shots of a recently completed cockpit sequence of an advanced long distance space craft in my current movie project.

It is a combo of stonemasons "greeble city blocks" for the inner hull details along with parts from the Great former Daz PA "Sanctumart"

all have there textures replaced with native C4D Procedural metals
The figure is Genesis one wearing the venerable  original Supersuit
..animated Via MDD data from Daz studio.

Love it! For some reason (perhaps the character and color palette) it reminds me of the original Heavy Metal animated movie. :-)

    Thanks PDS!!

I was hoping to, if not get some actual measurements of one, at least pics.  But I did not have time to do it this past weekend...

The 'ball' club and tomahawk were other possibilities.  My relative has at least one of each.

But here's a WIP of a 'from memory' version...it needs the blade and something other than walnut, if I recall, it was curly maple, in an aged amber color.  There was also a turtle 'burned' into the flat area surrounded by the studs (that brass in the pic a bit too shiny).

There's also a buckskin wrap and some 'dangles' needed.  It had a sheath, not a sling.  No, I'm not going to do the sheath, as it has a fair amount of beadwork that I don't want to do.

Did you look at the Iroquois War Axe in this set I linked to earlier: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/primitive-weapons/29122 (enlarge the first of the lower small promo images)

Here's another render...in maple and with wraps.  Still no dangles...
