Aux Viewport "Preview Mode" doesn't work; Iray doesn't stop to "prepare scene".
Hi there,
I thought it would be a good start for me to get used with DAZ Studio by watching the DAZ3D Tutorials on Youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyE5tdFw7FI&list=PLF3LSR7D48MfrVf5aBHaMN1Dh-eKvu9_L#t=45
My Problem arises at about 01:16 in the video, my windows somehow look different. I don't have a "preview mode" under draw settings -> drawstyle: nvidia Iray -> blending -> preview mode.
Also if I switch my Aux Viewport to "iray", there is just a loading bar at the bottom telling me "preparing scene". (even if I let it load for minutes...)
I do have a GTX 1080 in my rig, so compared to the GTX 980 Ti in the video that should be enough.
Being stuck so early in the process really takes the wind out of my sails... ... so thanks for taking your time and hopefully there is an answer to my problem(s).

Are you using the release build (4.9.2.70)? That doesn't have support for Pascal cards. The beta does, but needs a fairly current driver. You can check your DS version from Help>About Daz Studio.
Yep, that's the version I'm using right now. I will try to install the beta + the most current Nvidia driver.
Thanks!
After reinstalling the newest NVIDIA driver (375.95) and the recent DAZ Studio Beta (4.9.3.128 Pro Edition (64-bit) Public Build) everything works fine.
The windows now do look different from those in the video above, but most things are named similar.
Thanks again for the hint!
