Searching Content Library yields no results

When I search in my content library, DS does not return any results. It's as if nothing is happening.

I ran into this problem several months ago, but it's only now becoming a bother.

I'm on 4.9 and I have all of my content installed on a separate drive. I install everything using zip files and organize the files in my own way, which I'm sure has something to so with the problem. However, I have been installing content in this manner far longer than I've been having the problem.

Any thoughts? Is there perhaps just some easy command I can run from content library pane?

    If you are using the Content Library search make sure you are searching by filename, not searching the database (which is the default). Next to the search box there is an icon that pops up a list if clicked - stacked cylinders are the database (the default)
