Seeking G3F Ballerina Shoes...

I think there are some conventional G2F ballerina outfits, but I don't remember any in the store for G3F, are there? I'm loathe to try retrofitting, because footwar always seems to have issues with auto-fitting over.

A search revealed this, but I'm unsure if the shoes are separate from the leggings. Does anyone know? There seem to be figures suggesting that in the background, but they could be wearing another costume.

Stuff at places like Renderosity aren't really an option, as I can hardly ever get stuff functioning unless Daz Studio, itself, installs them.

There are separate shoe materials listed so my guess is that they are separate from the leggings (i.e. the pink sweater and leggings list black shoes and leotard)

There is this for V4 that you can probably autofit http://www.daz3d.com/the-art-of-dance-ballet-v4-toe-shoes

Wow, that is sad, Glad I don't use/rely on DIM and install everything manually.

Wilmap has a free set for G2, but you might be able to autofit them to G3. :)

EDIT - I just tested the shoes and they autofit fine to G3F:

Fabiana just released a refit of her The Swan ballet outfit for G3F over n Rendo. It includes the shoes and foot poses.

I was able to use Littlefox's Art of Dance shoes on Genesis 1. But I never attempted to put them on anything more recent.

A very quick render of the set you asked for.

The shoe and the legwarmer are one prop, but you can easily hide the legwarmers by setting the "Cutout Opacity" to zero (like I did in this render)

http://www.daz3d.com/ballerina-outfit-for-genesis-2-female-s. Fits reasonably good on G3F as well. Has separate material zones for laces, main cloth and bottom. And so does The Swan which also has an extra morph for the pointe shape.

Then there is Bad Ballerina - http://www.daz3d.com/bad-ballerina-hd-outfit-for-genesis-3-female-s. But be warned the shoes there remain at that pose only.

  • I honestly have too many issues with trying to install third party stuff. There are a handful of them which work, but most don't seem to, for whatever reason. Can't even take advantage of free updates posted here in the forums, because I can hardly ever even get the basic shapes to show in DS and, when I can, then the next problem is usually that the textures have screwed up. Even though I go step by step through any included instructions, that's almost always how it is with very few exceptions. Don't know why. It forces me to rely on the store and hope creators send updates through the system.

Thanks for the confirmation, HoMart! I was curious as to whether that could be the solution.

I was considering the latter, Mrinal, but it's more stylised than what I'm needing (an intriguing mixture of styles, all the same). I do have the G2F costume, though, so I'll see if the footwear auto-fits to G3F. If not, I'll obtain and Iray cut-out the shoes from the Dance Gear set. :)

Kinda' surprised there hasn't been a G3F Iray ballerina costume, cosndiering all the relevant poses there are!
