Same problem, logs say "Network Error during authentication". Looks like a problem on DAZ's side, and of course during a holiday! One where I'd like to download the beta to try out my shiny new graphics card...
Having the same issue here also. I have my DIM set to auto-log. Haven't changed password in DAZ.
Incorrect password and/or account.
Go into DAZ - change my password - shut down DIM. Restart DIM.
Plug in new password.
DIM still unable to login to the 'specified account.'
I purchased 49 things on DAZ last night. Guess I have to download them all manually and install them all manually.

Contacting customer service now, but I had to check see if others were having this issue, or if my DIM was updated by DAZ and I needed to download a new DIM. Guess I have my answer. Thank you for your post on this one. I thought I was going nuts.
Same here. No connection after multiple deletions and reinstallations. In DAZ Studio 4.9 connect > My Account - my DAZ 3d Account opens in a web browser, but no login via DAZ Studio or DAZ Install Manager.
Follow-up: Eight hours later after Thanksgiving Day it now reconnects. All is fine again. Thanks!
thank you for your answers guys! I feel relieved it's not just my account~ I will check if it works as soon as my win10 finishes the update (it totally kills the bandwidth)

This issue has been reported. Connect did let me log-in and install an item, but it was very slow.
