Poser Pro 11

So poser 11 pro upgrades are on sale at renderosity, I don't use poser anymore really but poser and Bryce were the first programs I used when I learned the 3D stuff In school so still have a soft spot for it, the last version I bought was poser pro 2012 and hardly touch it unless needed, I think I started using Daz once autofit started getting better to share clothing and all the genesis characters, any improvements since poser pro 2012 that would br reason enough to try to use it more?  I know they don't have iray but they have always had a really good render engine

My last version of Poser was also Poser Pro 2012, and I am also wondering if the upgrade is worth it, given I have pretty much switched 100% over to DS. Strange they are selling off their prime asset (ie Poser Pro 11) so cheap, even new buyers can get it for $85 by buying Poser Debut on Amazon for $10 then taking advantage of the cheap upgrade offer. Is this desperation on the part of SM to drag in new Poser users, or part of a brilliant marketing ploy.

I don't use it a lot either, but am considering getting the upgrade to Pro. I have Poser 11, just not the Pro version. Now that the upgrade is much cheaper, I'm willing to try it. The superfly engine is good, but kills my computer. I guess my card isn't CUDA enough for it, so it uses the RAM instead and it's SLOWWWWW. That said, I've always wanted to try the cloth and fitting rooms. I also picked up TONS of Poser stuff in the latest sales, especially with RDNA moving over. I really want to try some of Colin's Poser lights and Terradome 2 in it (I have T3 for Daz but it kills my computer.) So I plan to continue using it and to learn how to use it better. I like having more than one tool.
