Hi everybody ,
I'm working on a personnal project using this amazing software, DAZ. I just need to set up a scene as the most realistic as possible using the Rural Chateau assets.
As I nevers set up an entire scene in DAZ , you can imagine I'm a bit lost.
For exemple, after installing Rural Chateau , and Rural Chateau Fallen, its add on , Daz told me some assets were missing. After some researches, I could see that "extra add ons" for DAZ must have been installed. Especially the "built in ressources" , to obtain the environement sphere and others things.
So , all this things are done.
Now , everytime I'm doing a render , the windows are transparent , and I have nothing behind...
I'm pretty noob with that soft , I'm from Keyshot world lol, and it looks simplier over there ^^ But I'm convinced that DAZ , now it's using Iray Render engine , can help me.
Is there someone who did use the Rural Chateau scene who could help ?
To be clear, I'm using DAZ because I don't have yet a human photo model. And I'm about to buy soft boxes to make my own studio. Wainting for it to happen , I made my own one in DAZ because it has all the principal options to do the job.
For now , I'm doing these kind of shoots. A survitamined G3F posing with Iray lights , with iray skins , etc. But now , I would want to make her posing in other envirronements... That's why I'm asking help ^^

The easiest is to grab the Iray addons for the Rural Chateau, and then you can load the Iray scenes that are provided.
That said, to load the RC, you shouldnt need anything else installed.. can you post what errors you're seeing, and what exactly are you trying to load?
Thanks!
Hey ! Thanx for your anwser !
First , before installing the extra add ons for Daz , I had the message like "The envirronement sphere asset is missing blablabla".
After installing them , there is no problem anymore.
But Now , If I undertand the setup of a scene , I have to put a environemental map all over my scene , a spherical one , I suppose. Plus the light panels that are placed just behind the windows...
In fact , I'm a bit lost , because it seems that there are a lot of thing to put on the scene , while I'm thinking a bout a simply way to set up the scene, like on keyshot , where you put an hdri map all over the scene , and it prodcuts all the ambient light...
I don't know how/where to start lol...
Ok, do you have the Iray addon (http://www.daz3d.com/rural-chateau-bundle-iray-addon) or just the orginal version?
If you're going to be doing Iray renders, I would recommend you get the above. Then, you can load the RurCh Promo_1 (or any of the other promo scenes) in the Scenes/Iray/Promos folder and that will quickly give you a starting point.
Arf , ok . Maybe that's the main problem, I don't have yet the Iray Add On...
I'll see if I could buy it. But it becomes to be a true budget about assets I'm buying ... Thanx a lot anyway for your anwsers !
You could certainly set it up yourself, but it would just take some time to get everything set up.. it's only 4.99 if you're a PC member, too :)
Thanx for your answear, my dear. I'll make a try about that.
For Hdri maps I have many files, I'm using Keyshot , this soft is using hdris as light sources for a scene. so I have many examples.
I may buy the iray add on because the skin of my character is made for iray rendering... As I'm not confortable with all of that , iray rendre , etc , maybe I should make my scene to be iray-render-made ... I d'ont know.
Thanx a lot for all your anwseras anyway. Cool :)
