It, that must not be spoken of again !
With all those special discounts floating around, the best offer is the one that may not be spoken of again, atleast any time soon. Ironical as it may sound, but I would suggest refraining from posting discount stackings in future that are apparently unintentional even if (and especially if) it involves 40% off gift cards. Usually the Daz admins are faster to act than most readers so those posts really do not help many. You are not helping others find that special discount but rather killing the chances of many 'discovering' and benefiting from it.
Let this thread be the last of all such posts.

hmmm
I for one appreciate you mentioning of the unmentionable.
Not so sure that is unintential as it still must be used to buy DAZ products so it's like sale item(s) you can choose at leisure.
It's really strange that the gift cards are still showing the discount even after 3 hours of the initial post. Must be the weekend effect. But some of the other items in the store (such as Daz game developer licenses has been promptly rectified since then). Proof attached.
Stacking of those two (i.e. gc + gdl) would have been... lets just say, not very profitable for Daz.
I must confess to being extremely tempted by the Unspeakable Thing that is happening. Out of curiousity I even put one in my cart -- and got so flustered by the price drop that I accidentally cleared the whole cart instead of removing just one item. But it felt like taking unfair advantage because it surely must be a mistake so I forced myself to resist.
However, should it not be a mistake but a Surprise Sale, I very much fear resistance will be futile.
Well I do admit it's unlikely they ever want to discount a Commercial Game Development License but the other discounts, I'm not so sure they aren't intentional as they do them so often and often very big discounts too.
Voldemoort?
It seems to be gone (fixed?) now
I ain't sayin' nothin'. My lips are sealed.
I was thinking "it" was that really old Bryce book by Shamms Mortier... Speak not its name, lest your runtime turn to psychedelic rivers of metallic primitives, floating heads and paisley crocodiles.
I suspect this was a reference to some sort of "Heads Up Everyone" sale mistake with fantastirifical savings... And if I'm reading this correctly it was for a fantastic bulk discount on toilet paper and organic peanut butter in 12 gallon jars...
No?
You know, the really frustrating thing about this is, if that's what this is about (a mistake not toilet paper), is that it occurs so often, you don't know if it's mistake or a genuine crazy sale... I've seen these things so many times that I usually never even bother because if it's too good to be true, it usually is a mistake and if it does go through and it's a mistake, I don't want to cheat anyone...
And usually it is a mistake... And then on rare occasions, it's real, but it's over before I find out it's real.
Only once I ever bit because it seemed like it was legit and a real sale... But I gotta say, it's frustrating and annoying, especially when it's something you'd like, but is more than you really can afford or would like to pay...
I think Shamms Mortier wrote a book on Poser as well and the renders looked very similar to his Bryce ones. His art has a very distinctive style. I think the main thing I learnt from the book was not to do that.
some things are found out by trial and error...
