Quick note: Free item with Debut item not working w/Garden Party hair [Solved/Workaround]

Greetings,

The free page says 'Buy any Debut New Release, get 1 of these FREE*'.  The * doesn't have any clarification in its section so I'm presuming it's the one above's '* ITEMS MUST BE IN CART SIMULTANEOUSLY FOR DISCOUNT TO APPLY.'

In the 'DEBUT NEW RELEASES' section, the first two entries are Garden Party Hair for Genesis 3 Female(s) and the colors for the hair.

I have the hair and colors in my cart.  If I add the one item in the 'free' section that I don't own (Champion Outfit textures), it doesn't become free.  If I add one other item, like the Staging Chamber, then it becomes free.

I don't know if this is a bug (it should be becoming free) or a limitation (the PC+ item doesn't count for making things free), but one way or another it'd be great if it could get fixed or clarified.

    Edit: Life is better when I read the whole post first... Champion textures and the hair alone seems to work the way you want, so you get those two and the colors for the hair as a second transaction. It's just a workaround and the bug needs fixing, but that would get you the items at the right overall price

    It worked for me with the hair and the Divinity outfit.  But I only had one debut item in my cart.

    Thanks for the pointers; it worked with just the hair, so I'll wait on the colors for another purchase. :)

    FWIW, this happened to me as well; with both hair items in my cart, the first extra item wasn't discounted to free, but the second one triggered the full discount on both. I don't think I've ever seen this happen quite this way before. Yet another Magento "feature" manifesting itself, or an actual bug?

    I never got it to work. And now the promo is "poof" over sad
