Oh, Ijust love it when vendors are clever. Look at this Hanging Out Outfit and see if you can spot it. (And if you can't, well..)

I don't know, personally I skip practically all items that have any kind of text or other for the clothing irrelevant stuff baked into the textures, just like I never buy real clothes with company logos of any kind (except t-shirts with a message I've chosen myself) or watch movies or TV programs with commercial breaks. I think art should stay art and not be "polluted" by commercial stuff (commercial ads can be pieces of art in themselves, but that's a different story IMO). So maybe you'll win some customers by that kind of advertisement, but you may also lose some.

I'm just guessing, but I would think that can be shadered out.

Your comment reminds me of what I tell the car dealership every time I buy a car. If they put that dealership advertisement crap on the back of the car, they are going to pay me $250 a month for advertising for them. That solves THAT problem, never had it put on, and if it was on, they take it off before I drive off the lot.

    Interesting idea imo.

Not a fan of adverts, but logos on shirts are normal; that solves an issue there is with using brand names, Val3dart created their own logo. Folks can chose not to use that texture, but it's a decent even cool logo.

I'll normally just go for the cheapest item if the quality is good enough, especially if it's something nobody else is really going to see anyway, but am not big on stuff with prominently placed logos or names and paid fifteen quid extra for a hair dryer last year just because it was the only one in the shop that wasn't emblazoned with the name of some vacuous 'celebrity' stylist I'd have to look at every time I used it. My husband is the exact opposite, at least with clothes, and seems to get a kick out of wearing stuff with a well-known designer's name embroidered on the chest. Oddball. 'George at Asda' printed on the collar label is quite sufficient :)

Well... I thought it was cute. And the Hanging Out Outfit was one of the few Debut products that was an instant buy for me.

Not to mention, there are five texture options, instead of one or two with a separate texture add-on product. An excellent buy for only $7.90. ($1.90 if, like me, you used your monthly PlatClub coupon.)

I am undecided. Shoulder seams on the gray shirt look odd to me. jeans texture looks off and repetitive. Do like the plaid shirt. Soles of the shoes look weirdly curvy.

Agred. I think Val3dart does great work, but this isn't detailed/realistic looking enough for my tastes. I have no issues with the logos, think it's a cool idea. I make many of my own textures for outfits so if something doesn't suite me I just change it in photoshop

I agree.  Also most of the male clothing have a weird "bulkiness" about them somewhere on the shoulders or arms/chest.

  • I like it, but I'm actually a little more interested in where you can get the guitars and wall hangers for them from.

Ok, I did buy the outfit.... but I still want to know about the guitars and hangers!  laugh

I bought it too, and I hope to get rid of the M4 (Ben Affleck) shoulders. If not, I may return it; although $7.90 was a good price for a 5-texture full everyday male outfit.

Unfortunately it's a no for me for all of those reasons, plus the collar.

The people figures have become much more real looking, which for me makes it all the more glaring when clothing figures don't look real.
