How to BYOB

Am I the only one who doesn't know how BYOB works? I've no clue how to build a bundle.

You just pick the eight items that you want from the selection on the BYOB page and then add them to your cart.

I thought you were asking how to bring your own bottle. (And I'm a non-drinker!)

Additional note: As many bundles or as often as you like, but only one bundle per cart.

  • BYOB in English please ???

    Build Your Own Bundle

  • Now was that so hard ?

  • Also, if you accidentally miscount and add a ninth item from that list, the discount stops applying - remove one item and all's well again.

(Items from other categories are fine to add to the same cart).

I think it's just PC+ members that get the $2.99 offer on the BYOB.

First, you need to have a PC+ membership in order to get the Build Your Own Bundle discount.

If you're a PC+ member go to the BYOB 1 page and add any 8 items from there to your cart. They should come up to $2.99 in your cart.

You can do as many Build Your Own Bundles as you want, as long as it's only 8 items per purchase. You can check out with those 8 items in your cart, and then do it again with another, separate purchase if you want. I don't think there is a limit, as long as it's just 8 Build Your Own Bundle items per purchase.

    I hope that helps. :)

...I thought the question was about Brewing Your Own Beer.

It is a rather tricky process and one has to take care at every stage to make sure everything comes out right. You also don't really save any money over just going out and buying beer at a pub or store either.

...apologies, I live in Oregon, that's usually what we think of here when we see the acronym.

Yes. The sales page states, "PC+ Members Only."

Logged in or not, I'm not seeing a discount on membership. There wasn't a discount when I first joined either. I opted for the quarterly, joined, and then bought the items I was going to purchase anyway. The two transactions cost me less combined than if I'd only bought those items. Since then, I've been able to purchase annual renewals at greatly discounted prices. Well worth the money in my opinion.

And sometimes, when Daz adds it, there is a 9th item, a DazOriginal character you can add to that bundle to get that character for 5$ (at the moment the Girl 7).

I wonder if I could change my mind and buy the 3 characters for $5 each I skipped. I've only bought the 1st on and the Girl 7 I already have.

Am I allowed to ask which other characters have been discounted beside The Girl 7, Arabella 7, Bethany 7 and Eva 7?

The offers are tied to the "Friends of ...." promos from the PC+ sales, and those are the 4 characters featured so far.

oh it is eight not six, ooops!

I think I messed up 1 or 2 BYOB orders.  For some reason I thought it was six for $2.99 instead of 8 for $2.99. Is it too late to contact CS about this?

  • I would also like to add that you can get the HD add-on with pretty nice discount if you buy a debut new release. I got Eva 7, Behtany 7 and Arabella 7 all with the HD add-ons and nice discount. I'm not very interested in The Girl 7 tho.

It's worth a try I guess - but you might need to know which other items were on offer those days to add.  Or maybe they'll let you add something from the current crop.

    You'd have to ask them.

I contacted them and it got resolved.  They put the four items I forgot into my account.  It was two orders that had six instead of eight.

DAZ customer service is the best, which is why I do most of my shopping at DAZ.

Even though they don't have to, they often will fix our mistakes like that.

I love Daz!  I wish my budget was bigger but I am glad they have the BYOB thing I could use.
