Animate Lite Question

I've never understood this about Animate: when I bake aniblocks to keyframes, I'm unable to go back and add more aniblocks...even to a different character. Is there a way to fix this. I have one character walking fine, but I can't seem to apply a walk cycle to another character in the scene.

Using Daz 4.9 on a mac.
