Dynamic Clothing and reposing a figure

Draping dymanic cloth can take a very long time, and often, after the drape, I will need to tweak the figure pose. Unfortunately, this resets the drape back to default, and requires that it be done all over again. Does anyone know of a way to preserve the drape, or any tricks to get around this annoyance? Thanks for your help.

You can 'Freeze' the drape so that it wont move, but if you change the figure pose, the clothing wont follow it.

I think you right click on the clothing item to Freeze.

I forgot to mention that I am using Daz Studio. Is "freeze" available there?

Yes, I assumed that you were using DS, rightly as it turned out :)

You can get to the Freeze option from the DC Control as shown below:

like jimmy said - if you change pose - you have to redrape
and if you save it - you will not be able to change it at all

The other thing you can do is make sure the body parts being posed aren't selected to collide with the clothing. Obviously this isn't applicable if that would affect the drape, but if you just want to wrinkle Victoria's nose that isn't likely to affect the lie of her skirt....
