I really want to like these characters but the skin seems a bit flat to me - particularly Enkil. And his knuckles in the promo just look really wonky. It's like his knuckle creases texture has migrated half way up his finger.

I agree and I also find it odd that these characters are called "dark skinned" especially in comparison to the characters in the promos of the outfits they are wearing. I'm just saying, give us a black couple bundle already.
Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned Egyptian duo were named Akasha and Enkil.
The book, not the movie.
Lestat (the brat prince)
Great movie. Really fun vamp flick. I havent read the book.
There was a graphic novel for Vampire Lestat, sucked me into the rest of the non-graphic books.
I stopped at the Body Thief novel, series went a lil 'over the top' for me after that one lol

My wife read a series of books about a vampire hunter named Anita Blake by Laurell K. Hamilton and really enjoyed those ones. Have you read those? Might be fun.
Akasha is really beautiful. Her face looks great from every angle and that's not something I find in every model. Enkil is fun to work with as well. His gold paint especially is a really nice effect.

Yeah, that was a fun series until it turned into porn. I was warned against reading past the fifth? book. :p

I stopped down to the 'soft porn' content at around book 8 or so ... ;)
But back to Akasha and Enkil - they look nice but if I had to put hand on heart a bit even-complected ... flawless, and that was a bit of a let down for me, so passed them by.

If I remember right thier skin was called flawless and tanned in the book when Lestat first saw them.

Not after about the fourth or so one. They kinda went a bit.....um, 'naughty' after that.

They are gorgeous!
Lol. I had no idea!
I do like Akasha quite a bit. The gold skins are really fun.
