Wishlist is showing strange number

My wishlist tells me I listed 40 items, but if I count the items the list shows, there is one missing.  Does your wishlist show this strange behavior as well?

Logout doesn't change anything.

    You've probably bought one of them already, so the system is filtering it out.

    Yeah, as Chuckdozer said, try unchecking the "Hide items I own" checkbox. If it appears, remove the one you already have from the wishlist.

    There is another issue here (unless it has been fixed now). If there are duplicates in the wishlist, they will be included in the total number, however the extras will only be shown if you set Items per Page to 60 or 120. They'll not show if you set it to All. But you'll probably not notice this unless you count the number of items that are actually displayed when listing All and compare it with the number shown. And in practice it doesn't really matter.

    For me it consistently lists one number more than is actually in the list. Has done it for a year or so.

    No, I didn't buy one of these already,  there is nothing hidden.

    And setting the showing items number to 120 (which is way more than the number of items on my wishlist) didn't change anything. It still shows one item more which doesn't exist. Even after buying another item from my wishlist, which did reduce the overall number,  it still shows one item more. Like JOdel says.

    Maybe it happens when some item that you had on the wishlist got deleted from the store for whatever reason. Those still exists in system in some way, as downloads are kept active for buyers..

    Well, I think whatever was going on in my wishlist has been identified. And if so, then it's not been a full year that it's been going on. Although it has been several months.

    I just logged out to see what was in the BYOB and category collections (nice stuff in those. And I do indeed have it all), and then logged back in. And suddenly an extra item appeared in my wishlist. Evidently it's been invisible.

    In this case, it was the G3M trenchcoat. The one that's encrypted. I think that I may have put it in there to wait out the year until it will be available through other download methods.

    However, the really weird thing is that when I clicked on it and went to the store page, it showed up as purchased. I was sure that I hadn't done anything of the sort. But when I went to my product list, it does come up. So even though I don't remember it, I must have purchased the bundle that it was a part of. I *do* remember purchasing (and downloading) one of the other items in that bundle, so that must be it.
