Sorting Poser Files

So I am looking at my installed content and I am trying to figure out if there is a way to do something...

The content files fall into three basic types of installs:

1. DAZ Studio Files. These can be identified by not having any "Runtime\Libraries\..." files. These are the files that show up under "DAZ Studio Formats" in the Content Library pane within DS. (Shown on the left in my attached screenshot.)

2. Poser Files. These can be identified by having only "Runtime\Libraries\..." files. These are the files that show up under "Poser Formats" in the Content Library pane within DS. (Shown on the right in my attached screenshot).

3. DAZ Studio Files & Poser Files. These have both of the above files and appear in both DAZ Studio Formats as well as Poser Formats.

1 and 3 of the above I have a handle on.

2 is the one that is giving me trouble. Is there any easy way to locate the #2 items through DIM so that I can isolate them? Maybe with a "file::.." search through the installed content? Or some other flag that I am not aware of?

Nope...no easy way AND to top it off, it's very easy to break things when messing with the extremely messy structure they are currently in.

  • What a headache...  I am just trying to sort out the content files that I wouldn't normally see. Without having to pick through dozens that already appear in the DS Format area.

Yeah...reg expressions may make sorting through it easier, but DIM sort doesn't have enough features to handle more than simple filters.

Is there a guide for these regular expressions? I'm trying to figure out the expression to search by product name inside the Content Library...
